A quick post today- Call me the gayest gay in Gaytown, but I'm totally seeing this one opening weekend. Normally, I hate musicals, but John Waters' original "Hairspray" with a then-unknown Ricki Lake and the late Divine is now (only 20 years later) a camp classic. Classic enough, that is, to be converted into a Tony Award-winning Broadway show...and converted back to a movie.
Granted, the idea of Travolta in a fatsuit and a dress is beyond unsettling, but c'mon...it's gotta be better than Travolta in "Battlefield Earth".

The best thing about Baltimore in 1952? It ain't Vinnie Barbarino in drag.

Yes, this makes you very, very, very gay. Remember, I'm a guy who actually MAJORED in musical theater. A guy who MAJORED in musical theater is calling you gay.
But seriously, I'm seeing it too.
